Kinect 2 for Windows now up for pre-order
|Microsoft has announced that the first batch of Kinect 2 for Windows have been made available for pre-order on the Microsoft Store.
Costing $199 (£159, AU$199), the peripheral will offer buyers the chance to use the peripherals motion tracking and voice recognition technology for all sorts of interesting and fun activities on their PC.
Developers will also have the chance to create all manner of software and gaming experiences.
It’s not yet clear when the units will ship but Microsoft said the new Kinect for Windows SDK 2.0 will enter public beta in July.
