Nvidia G-Sync
|Nvidia G-Sync is the company’s new technology for smoothing out the final picture we see on our monitors. It works like an extension of V-Sync – the technology that ensures the monitor waits for a full frame before refreshing to avoid having tears in the middle of frames – except it also allows the graphics card to control the refresh rate of the monitor.
The result is a visual experience that is smooth, with no tearing of judder, even when the graphics card framerate drops below the monitor’s 60Hz refresh rate.
Below are two videos demonstrating the power of G-Sync.
